For parishes and schools
Five minutes a day with the story of the Bible
Heavenward teaches the Bible the way language apps teach a language: short, game-style lessons and a daily streak, one step of the story at a time. It's written in the Catholic tradition, aligned with the Catechism, and built to sit beside your parish's main program.
Who it's for
Confirmation classes, OCIA groups, youth groups, Catholic schools and adult faith formation, plus the families learning at home alongside them. Class features need an account, and accounts are for ages 13 and up.
What students get, free
- Five-minute lessons: 8 units, from Creation through the Gospels and the early Church to Revelation
- The full 73-book Catholic Bible, with notes, highlights and tap-a-name cards
- Prayers to learn, a guided Rosary, the Church calendar and the daily Mass readings
- Guides to Confession and the Mass, a saint of the day, and a quiz to help find a Confirmation saint
- A private reflection journal that stays on the phone
- Streaks that rest on Sunday. No guilt and no ads
What catechists get, free
- A class code, so students join in seconds
- A dashboard with each student's lessons, XP and last day practiced. It never shows notes, journals or answers
- A shared weekly class goal, and class boards you can switch off
- Live quizzes on a projector, drawn from the lessons
How it works in your class
Create a class
Sign in to the catechist dashboard with your Heavenward account, then name your class and add your parish or school.
Share the code
Students type it into the app under Settings, then Join a class. Free classes hold up to 50 students.
Cheer them on
Set a weekly goal, see who's practicing, and turn the class boards on or off.
Run a live quiz
Pick a unit, put the questions on a projector, and students answer on their phones.

Privacy for minors
Built to protect students
- Accounts are for ages 13 and up. Anyone can use the app without one, but classes need an account.
- No ads, no ad tracking and no third-party analytics. Anonymous crash reports and daily usage counts are off unless someone switches them on, and they carry no lasting number that could identify a student.
- Teachers never see notes, highlights, journals or answers, only lessons finished, XP and the last day practiced.
- Students can hide their name from classmates, and you can turn the class boards off.
- Friends only by mutual code, with preset cheers and no free-text messages.
- The reflection journal never leaves the phone, and anyone can delete their account and data from Settings.
Every detail is in the Privacy Policy.
Suggested pricing
Parish and school licenses
A license gives Heavenward Plus to the whole class. These are our suggested prices before launch, and the pilot helps us check them.

Pilot offer
The first 10 parishes get a free semester
What you get: Heavenward Plus for one class for one semester, up to 50 students, at no cost.
What we ask:
- The catechist introduces Heavenward in class.
- A 15-minute check-in at week 4, and a 5-minute survey at the end.
- Permission to share anonymous results.
- We use your parish's name only with your written permission.
After the pilot: a founding-parish price, kept the same for two years.
Pilots begin once Heavenward is on the App Store.
Good to know
We'd rather you hear it from us.
- Heavenward is an independent app. It doesn't have an imprimatur or the approval of any bishop or diocese, and no parish or diocese endorses it.
- Aligned with the Catechism of the Catholic Church and written in the Catholic tradition. The lessons are awaiting theological review, and a priest will review them before any parish uses them.
- A supplement, not a full program. It's the daily habit beside your main Confirmation or OCIA program. Please check with your diocesan office about using it in class.
- The story of the Bible, not every book. The lessons follow the main story from Creation to Revelation.
- iPhone and iPad only (iOS 17 or later). Students with Android phones can't join classes or live quizzes yet.
- Accounts are 13+, so younger classes can't use the class features.
- Not launched yet. Pilots start once Heavenward is on the App Store.
Let's talk about your class
